The Taliban currently provides varying levels of tacit support — including safe refuge, funding, logistics, and some military aid — to several foreign terrorist groups in Afghanistan. Those groups include Al-Qaeda, the Pakistani Taliban (TTP), the Turkistan Islamic Party (a Uyghur group), and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM, a Kashimiri terrorist group).
The Taliban remains in conflict with ISIS-K, the regional ISIS branch operating in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
